Angelicdiamonds is a diamond jewelry brand. They provide beautiful designer jewelries and various types of wedding, engagement rings online. They are in business from last 5 years and based in Northumberland, London.
Challenges
They approached us for their website Angelicdiamonds’s design and running issues. When they contacted us then the current site was in an old technology and site was not performing well. They wanted us to redesign their website in a new technology. Along with this they were looking for option to manage heavy database plus option to manage their daily activities related to store. The existing website was in X-Cart 5 and they wanted to make changes in ordering process and looking for customizations in various sections.
Strategy
We have analyzed the existing website and created a plan for that. We have suggested Laravel as its most popular and secure Php framework. As client was looking for some customizations in ordering process and wanted to add new sections so as per the requirements Laravel was a good option. We have created a plan for migration from X-Cart 5 to Laravel and created a whole new database structure plan which was optimized.
Results
Migration was successful and all the data, SEO points migrated from X-Cart 5 to Laravel. We have integrated Memcached so store is very quick. After migration their revenue is increase by 40% and they are able to save more time due to sections that we have added in super admin to manage daily store operations.
